For The Children
It is so easy and fun to meet all the membership requirements!
The $12.00 annual dues pays for our affiliation with National and Ohio PTA. The rest of the money is used for group expenses and activity costs. Compared to many clubs, we are a bargain and we are proud to keeps dues so reasonable for our members.
Participating in a PTA committee allows you to showcase your talent and make a difference in our group. Whether you help plan a party or fundraiser, help with accounting or outings or even take a leadership role and hold a position, it impacts in a positive way. Children, parents and the community see your involvement and how committed you are to giving the best to your kids. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your unique talents, become involved, meet other parents and make a difference!
Providing a refreshment item at one meeting is so simple! And everything is better with FOOD! It can be as uncomplicated as providing the drinks or a bag of chips or cookies. Or for the more inspired, bring your signature dish and watch people "ooh" and beg for the recipe! We provide different theme nights like Appetizers!, Mexican Night! Desserts! and more to make it fun and exciting!
Finally, raising $30 in funds so our group can plan great activities, parties and outings for the kids is rewarding. In the past, we have sold Entertainment books, participated in Parmatown's Night of Giving, hosted a Wing Ding night and held a Kids Resale. As you can see, there are many types of ways to raise the funds. And you will be surprised how willing your friends, family and others are willing to help! We also provide the option of just paying the $30 but the fundraisers are so easy and fun, it is hard to see why you wouldn't try them!
