Welcome to the 2011-12 Parma Early Childhood PTA (PEC-PTA) Year!
This year’s theme is “Unless….” It sounds like a very strange theme to have, but the term is taken from the Dr. Seuss book, The Lorax. Simply put, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” I believe this resonates with all of us. Unless we care, get involved, pitch in, and roll up our sleeves, nothing changes, nothing progresses and nothing improves. Each individual has the power to make a difference, no role too small to make an impact.
This is my third year with the PEC-PTA and during this time, I have met some truly wonderful people. Your experience in PEC-PTA is unique and what you shape it into; I hope you take the time to make new friends, to celebrate with your children this unique time in their lives and enjoy everything the Parma Early Childhood PTA has to offer.
We have many great events planned: outings, fundraisers, parties, guest speakers and fun parents’ night out activities. There’s definitely going to be something for everyone.
